I am looking forward to meeting you and giving you the memories you deserve\u2026 below you will find some helpful tips for the type of session you have or plan to book. My studio space is small so please be choosy with the amount of people you bring along as an audience. A lot of times your little one will be distracted by his\/her family members behind me all trying to get their attention, it makes it harder on your baby\/child and myself when trying to get eye contact and a smile directly at my camera. Although Pinterest is a great place\u00a0to gather inspiration for your session please don\u2019t come with the expectation to get exactly what you\u2019ve pinned. Each artist is different as well as each baby\/child. I will work with your faves, but lighting, props, and style may differ from what you\u2019ve pinned.<\/p>\n

Studio Location\u2013<\/strong> The day before your session please email me to confirm your appt and to get the address to my studio I will also include a map to help locate the house easier.<\/p>\n

Parking\u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Please pull in through the large ranch entry and park on the left or right hand side of the driveway. I will come out once you are here and walk with you to my studio located in the back. We will walk down the sidewalk with the railroad tie fence so park accordingly.<\/p>\n

Baby\/ Children Prep<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Plan for 2 outfit changes for a mini and 4 for a full session. Choosing outfits may be frustrating but try not to make it stressful and have fun with it. If you want certain themes you will want to choose outfits accordingly, I can help you with this. Babies are unpredictable and no 2 babies will react\/ act the same, so don\u2019t be alarmed if your child clams up when you first come into my studio, this is normal and I will work to get to know your child before throwing them in font of my camera. Most of the time I can get your child to show me their true selves, but on the rare occasion that your child is just not having a good day, I will not force your child to do anything he\/she doesn\u2019t want to do\u2026 I do not want your baby\/child to have a bad experience in front of my camera, so we may want to reschedule to a later day. Again this is rare but it does happen.<\/p>\n

Smash Cake Prep<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This tends to be a messy session but it’s worth it and can only be done at this age so I highly recommend this for all 1yr olds. When you come you are welcome to bring balloons to match the theme you would like to do. Please bring 3-4 outfits including the one that will get cake on it. We will do 2-3 \u201cclean\u201d sets and then move on to the cake. Please don’t be shocked if your child does not dig into the cake, it is VERY common for him\/her to not like the feeling of the cake on their hands. We will take our time and let your child explore the cake at his\/her own pace! We will do a little coaxing but not force it on them. Make sure to bring baby wipes for hands, feet, and messy faces, the rest of the mess is mine<\/p>\n

Newborn Session Prep<\/strong><\/h3>\n

These sessions can last up to 2-3\u00a0hours (for a full session, 1hr for a mini) depending on baby. Feel free to bring snacks\u00a0and whatever else you may need in that time frame. My studio will be VERY warm\u2026 80 degrees\u2026 so dress comfortably and light. Baby will be nakey\u00a0or wrapped for the majority of the session, if you bring an outfit we can work with it. \u00a0And yes\u2026 99% of the time #1 and #2 oopsies will make an appearance\u2026 don\u2019t be alarmed this is very normal and Im prepared for it, I wash EVERYTHING after every session, so no need to worry. We will do approx. 4 different set ups (2 for a mini session) in this time frame, I welcome your ideas for anything specific you may want to incorporate\u2026 if you don\u2019t have any ideas, I have tons of stuff here to play with. Please bring extra diapers, wipes, and a few extra receiving blankets. For nursing babes it does help to have a pumped bottle or 2 on hand to get baby full and sleepy quicker. Please dress baby in something easily removed to make things easier once you are here.<\/p>\n

Maternity<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Depending on the type of session you will want to choose your outfits accordingly. Please be sure to wear very light clothing that will not leave lines on your skin before the session. Bring your fave pair of jeans, even if they don’t button. You will want to bring about 4-5 different outfits & a few matching bra\/underwear sets for us to choose from. If daddy or siblings will be in the session as well please no shirts with large logos, crazy patterns, or bulky lettering.<\/p>\n

Family<\/b><\/h3>\n

In my studio I can do 5-7 people maximum depending on the size\/ age of everybody. Outdoor\/ On Location is unlimited. Please come as ready as possible for the family shot, we will start with the family set up that way we can move onto the kiddos set ups. Be sure to bring them a few outfits for their individual shots.<\/p>\n

Boudoir<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You are nervous… that’s normal. Rest assured once you see a sneak peek of the back of my camera after a few shots your mind will ease and you will become more relaxed. I aim to have fun… it doesn’t have to be this intense and serious session at all. We will giggle… try new things… and I will for sure be your number 1 hype woman the whole session! I got you! Be sure to wear loose clothing before you arrive to avoid lines on our skin. As for hair and make up… in order to keep the session price lower I leave that up to you. Some women want to go all out with hair and makeup while others want to stay as natural as possible. So you do you boo! I got the rest!<\/p>\n

Preparing for Your Boudoir Session! This is a special and intimate experience, and I want to ensure you’re well-prepared for the session. Here’s a heartfelt guide to help you get ready for our time together:<\/p>\n

  1. Wardrobe Selection: Choose outfits that make you feel confident and beautiful. This isn’t about what’s trendy; it’s about what makes you feel like your best self.<\/li>\n
  2. Hair and Makeup: I do not offer Hair and Make up. You can choose to go as simple or as “done up” as you want. You do you girl!<\/li>\n
  3. Hydration and Rest: Leading up to our session, make sure to stay hydrated and get enough rest. It truly makes a difference in how you look and feel.<\/li>\n
  4. STRETCH: Literally you have no idea how important this is! If you don’t do some stretching for a few days before you will be VERY sore after your session. You’ve been warned.<\/li>\n
  5. Be You: Embrace your uniqueness. Your quirks and imperfections are part of what makes you uniquely beautiful. Don’t be afraid to let your true self shine through.<\/li>\n
  6. Relaxation: On the day of our session, try to relax. Trust me, I’m here to capture your beauty and make you feel comfortable throughout the process.<\/li>\n
  7. Wear LIGHT and LOOSE clothing the day of. Avoid anything that will leave lines on your skin.<\/li>\n
  8. Communication: Share your thoughts and ideas with me. I’m here to bring your vision to life, and your input is invaluable.<\/li>\n
