The Jenn Tuttle Loveographer Collection: Colorful, Fun, & Unique Backdrops

Where have I been this past month you ask? Where have all the blog posts gone? Why the silence?? The answer is this… I have been holding out on a BIG announcement!! I have been working with my friend Jen from Photo Prop Floors & Backdrops & My beloved BFF Rachel Hood – Artistic Visual Designer for MONTHS now on this exciting new adventure.

It has NOT been easy keeping this a secret for so long thats for sure. I havent been able to post ANY pictures with these backdrops yet, which has been torture… literally!!! LOL

I cant even count the times that I’ve stood in my studio and said (sometimes in my head, sometimes out loud) “UGH If I only had a backdrop for that”…. I have ideas that just keep pouring out of my brain… and until now I had NO way of even making these things come alive. So WHALA an idea was born. I knew that some of these thoughts I had I could create on my own… but most of them I would need an amazing artist to pull them through. I’ve go to admit Im pretty lucky in that department,  my BFF is fresh out of art school with an AMAZING eye /hand and of course she was just as eager to start this adventure as I was. We are like 2 peas in a pod and are pretty inseperable. Not only is she my Nanny by day… but shes my BFF for life… and we have a lot of time to put our brains together! 🙂 Its like magic haha. She also did my re brand a few months back… she designed my logo and my ruffle background you see on my blog. Shes amazing… fresh… and her personality shines through her work. So from there I crossed my fingers and contacted the AMAZING Jen from Photo Prop Floors & Backdrops. I love this girl let me just tell you… she’s so sweet and has so much to give. She’s got a huge heart and I swear sometimes we were separated at birth haha. 🙂 Jen’s product is SUPERIOR… they are so durable… and the quality is just perfection. I put wear on my backdrops let me tell you… and her backdrops stand up to the abuse with no problems… at all! Ive tried other backdrop companies in the past and the first sign of drool the drop was damaged… so after just a tiny little drool I knew I couldn’t put it through any of my cake sessions and defiantly couldnt put a nakey baby on them in fear an oopsie would ruin the whole thing. So if you are a photographer… who actually uses your backdrops and needs something you can trust… do your homework…. you dont want to spend money on something that will get damaged right away. Photo Prop Floors & Backdrops vinyl backdrops are as tough as they come… and I wouldn’t even dream of trusting another with the messes and work I put them through.

With all that in order… great brains… great artist… great product to put the art on… great people… great friends… great great great everything… I give you the Jenn Tuttle Loveographer Collection:

License Plates: This idea was hatched after my very own sons… they are always in the garage with daddy working on cars… So I needed something for all the other little boys, and even girls, that love cars as well.

Flight Maps: Every so often I get Pilot Daddies in here that want to incorporate their little ones into what they do. These flight maps are SO cool and full of texture… and Im a sucker for texture. This backdrop is perfect to pair with all those little aviator beanies floating around. 🙂

Vintage Comic Books: Once again my little guys (pictured) inspired this one… there are not very many boyish backdrops out there… and this was just perfect for the little guys (and gals) that love super heros and comics. The Comic Book sign was hand painted by Rachel Hood – Artistic Visual Designer

Pirate Map:  I LOVE pirates… and it seems as through everybody else does as well. Especially little ones. This is the first one done by  Rachel Hood – Artistic Visual Designer . This sample photos doesn’t even show all the awesome details of this map.

Fun in the Sun w Paisley: When sweet little Paisley came in she brought some of her awesome sun gear, I just knew it would make a perfect background. The Clouds and Sun were created by Rachel Hood – Artistic Visual Designer

Ice Cream Shack Backdrop & Board Walk Floordrop: Bringing a Southern California beach boardwalk to your home. My favorite place in the world is the beach… walking down the boardwalk in the warm sun, the sound of waves crashing, people riding by on their beach cruisers… AND ICE CREAM! Nothing better. Both back and floordrop were drawn by Rachel Hood – Artistic Visual Designer. And the sassy model… that would be my Niece Kendall LOL I knew she was perfect for this job haha 🙂

The Gamer: For my sons 4th birthday I just knew I had to make something that would be 100% HIM!  Hes a Gamer through and through!! So me and Rachel Hood – Artistic Visual Designer spent a whole entire day drawing out, cutting, tracing, and taping all these items together. We then created a scene in my studio and WHALA the Gamer background was created.

Newspaper: I’ve only been able to do 2 newspaper sessions… newspaper is so hard to work with when it comes to children. The first session I did I made the newspaper both the back and floordrop… and every time the baby moved the newspaper ripped and crumpled. It was nearly impossible to do. The second time (pictured) a photo stylist came to my studio and put together a backdrop. It worked great but its so time consuming to tape each paper up every time you want to do a newspaper shot… SO the newspaper backdrop was born. It looks so real and it doesn’t even rip… it will even clean up if you want to make a mess on it! 🙂 YAY!

So there you have it… the first set of the Jenn Tuttle Loveographer Collection. There will be many more to come. YAY!
