Desiree Shuey: Southern California Photographer

Desiree is no stranger to my blog… after becoming the best of friends… 2 maternity sessions… a newborn session and now her Bio session… Id say shes pretty darn close to my heart! We have had the best of times in her past sessions and this one was no different. We headed out to a secret location right before the sun was about to go down… laughing, joking, and even serious life talks all the way there. 🙂

Desiree pulled into a super soft sand wash and scared the poo out of me… living in the desert I must admit Ive been stuck more times then I can even count haha. After pleading with her to pull onto some harder dirt we jumped out and started prepping for the session, trying to beat the sun. Not even 1 minute into us starting to pull stuff out of the car I turned to Desiree, looking like a deer in headlights, and said “DOGS!!!!!!”… there were 2 very large dogs running our way FULL SPEED!!! I dont even think out feet hit the ground we ran SO fast, we were back in the truck in milliseconds LOL I am SURE the house the dogs came from had someone in there laughing and tweeting about us hahaha… I know I sure would be laughing about seeing 2 girls run for their lives LOL Im sick I know! HAHA 🙂 In all honesty the dogs probably would have licked us to death… but we weren’t willing to take that chance… so off we went to a different location about a half mile down the road.

And here we landed… with less then 20 minutes to get’er done…

Love you Des… we have the best adventures ever… cant wait to do mine now and see what crazy story we will have after that! HA HA! 🙂
